Basis is a nonprofit applied AI research organization seeking a Research Engineer, Machine Learning to translate research ideas into high-quality code and contribute to the culture and direction of the organization.
Requirements
- Excellent programming and software engineering skills in Julia, Python, C++, and ML-family languages
- Demonstrated ability to drive software projects from start to finish
- Comfortable digesting research from PL and/or ML venues
- Progress with a high degree of autonomy and under uncertainty
- Enthusiasm about solving real-world problems and making a positive societal impact
- Significant technical achievements within ML engineering
