Job Description
The company is seeking a 2nd and 3rd Shift Tool & Die Technician to maintain and repair dies and machine related items. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, part preparation, setup, and calibration of tooling. Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and shop math is essential. Opportunity for continuous improvement and training is also available.
Requirements
- Maintain dies and machine related items to efficiently produce statistically capable parts
- Complete assigned tooling work orders on time
- Prepare tooling for complete production readiness
- Troubleshoot tool malfunctions
- Configure and operate manual and Proto Trak equipment
- Calculate die clearance and shear
- Retiming die components
- Able to work with blueprint and press logs
- Provide training for students
- Participate in Continuous Improvement programs
