Assistant Teacher - Children's House/Toddler House

We are searching for a passionate assistant teacher to assist in various classrooms of our school each year, from late August through early June. The assistant teacher is responsible for maintaining the operation of the classroom in accordance with state licensing requirements and assisting the Lead Teacher in preparing the environment, maintaining order in the classroom, and managing the tone and volume for the classroom.

Requirements

• Experience preferably in early childhood education
• Willingness to pursue certification with the State of MA
• Interest in Montessori Philosophy
• Calm and peaceful disposition
• A strong desire for ongoing learning about teaching, children, education, and Montessori
