The Nurse Resident, Acute Care position at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital is a comprehensive tertiary care facility that serves St. Petersburg and the surrounding communities. The hospital is a 480-bed teaching medical center with nationally recognized care across emergency medicine, cardiology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, women’s services, and advanced surgical specialties. The position is intended for licensed registered nurses with less than one year of experience.

Requirements

• Administers bedside patient care in a hospital or inpatient/observation setting under the supervision of a preceptor, leader, and/or charge nurse.
• Assesses patients’ needs and develops/revises individualized plans of care based on their needs and responses.
