We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across our addiction treatment organization. The role plays a critical part in fostering a respectful, compliant, and mission-driven workplace while supporting leaders through complex employee relations matters in a highly regulated behavioral healthcare environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of employee relations experience, including investigations and performance management
- Experience supporting multi-site, multi-state operations, including working knowledge of federal and state employment laws (Title VII, ADA, ADEA; California experience preferred)
- Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and empathy
- Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS platforms (ExponentHR) and project tools (Monday.com) preferred
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred
