Job Description
Bazaarvoice is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of solutions to extend its Syndication network. The engineer will be responsible for leading system architecture, driving test-driven development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional development experience
- Expertise in Java and the TypeScript/JavaScript ecosystem
- Experience in big data storage and processing technologies including Apache Spark, dbt, Redshift, and Snowflake
- Strong experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, Step Functions, EventBridge) and building event driven, serverless architectures
- Proficiency in NoSQL (DynamoDB/MongoDB)
- Expert knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, or SAM
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipeline architecture and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with search engines like Elasticsearch or OpenSearch for log analysis and data discovery
