Job Description
Bazaarvoice is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the design of distributed streaming architectures using Kafka Streams, Spark, and Flink. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years of deep production expertise in Scala or Java, and hands-on experience with the Kafka ecosystem.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of deep production expertise in Scala or Java
- 5+ years hands-on experience with the Kafka ecosystem
- Deep JVM knowledge required
- Mastery of the AWS ecosystem (handling TBs of data)
