Natural Resources Specialist

BB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Natural Resources Specialist to fulfill the associated requirements for the NASA Environmental Support Services (NESS) contract Performance Work Statement (PWS) in support of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Johnson Space Center (JSC) Environmental Management Division (EMD). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of Environmental Planning, NEPA or related experience and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or higher in environmental science, engineering, or in a related field.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to obtain/maintain a NACI
• Ability to pass a federal agency background check
• Knowledge of federal, state, and/or local laws and regulations
• Problem-solving skills
• Strong Communication Skills
• Proficiency using MS Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Self-Starter
• Ability to work both indoors/outdoor (with exposure to the elements)
• Ability to wear the required PPE
