Job Description
The BBC Concert Orchestra is seeking a dedicated and experienced orchestra administrator to manage the day-to-day administration of the orchestra team, including finances, personnel records, and logistics. The role requires a keen eye for detail, good organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will also be responsible for running rehearsals and concerts, as well as coordinating hotel bookings, travel, and venue logistics.
Requirements
- Previous experience of working in orchestral administration
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Pay meticulous attention to detail with a good level of numeracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Some knowledge of orchestral music and the components of an orchestra
