Job Description
A Safety Manager leads all safety, compliance, and risk management functions within a DOT-regulated transportation operation, overseeing the company's Safety Score and ensuring adherence to DOT regulations.
Requirements
- DOT Safety Manager experience is required
- Bachelor's or associate degree is required
- Extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations, including FMCSA guidelines
- Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and HOS regulations
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Experience handling insurance claims and workers' compensation matters
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Preferred experience with Samsara and Foley Services
- CDL A driving experience is a plus
