Jewish Education Consultants

BBYO is seeking Jewish educators to consult and engage with eager teens across North America. The preferred consultant is dynamic and teen-oriented, thrives in pluralistic communities, and represents their own authentic relationship to Jewish learning, practice, and identity. BBYO is looking for educators that are happiest when not in the front of the room and are instead watching a teen that they’ve taught facilitate an experience.

Requirements

• Strong Judaic knowledge and background
• Experience coaching Jewish content
• Proficient in some variation of Jewish prayer, values, holidays, or rituals
• Capable teacher and motivator
• Experience working with teens
• Authentically representing your Jewish identity and a positive Jewish role model

Benefits

• Paid honorarium of $1,150 per convention experience
• Additional opportunities to engage with teens virtually may be available
• Monthly payment of $50 per coaching call for JEC Chapter Programming Coaching
• Yearly payment of $1,700 per assigned chapter for Target Chapter Support
