Job Description
Responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient operation of all Detroit Service Center equipment and systems. Operate and maintain HVAC systems, high-pressure steam and components, emergency and standby power generation systems. Provide emergency service response to site emergencies and maintenance of assigned spaces and equipment.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- BCBSM Service Center Systems and Jefferson Facility Systems Qualification Guidelines completion within specified time frames
- 1 year DDC/BAS operation and maintenance experience
- 2 years operational experience in a comparable facility
- City of Detroit First Class Refrigeration Operators License
- EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certificate
- Valid Michigan Driver's License
- Ability to work any shift, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
