Assistant Psychologist

We are seeking assistant psychologists to support the work of educational psychology in Birmingham. Assistant psychologists will have an important role working alongside educational psychologists to meet the high demand for our services. The role will involve contributing to our statutory work, assisting with locality based or city-wide casework, and contributing to development work, research and to the delivery of training.

Requirements

• Good relevant undergraduate or postgraduate psychology degree qualifications (with Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership eligibility)
• Commitment to applying psychological knowledge in promoting positive educational, social and emotional outcomes for city’s children and young people
• Well-organised, good communicator, able to take responsibility for managing own workload and committed to partnership working
