Underwriting Specialist

Experienced office worker, preferably with an insurance background, to perform high level administrative and underwriting duties. Analyze new and renewal insurance applications, submit applications to underwriters, and manage submission and tracking.

Requirements

• Excellent Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, Access)
• Strong verbal and written skills
• Ability to work with speed and accuracy in a demanding environment
• Insurance knowledge/terminology a plus
• Flood insurance or an insurance background is preferred but not required
