Senior Technical Designer, Sweaters

BCI is seeking a Senior Technical Designer, Sweaters to lead sweater design and production teams, source materials, and ensure seasonal deadlines are met. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in women's sweater design, leading fittings, and strong knowledge of garment construction. Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills are required.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as working in WOMEN'S sweater design
• Experience in leading fittings
• Exhibit a strong working knowledge of Sweater garment construction, including stitch / gauge / technical capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management and multitasking skills
• Innate sense of urgency and organizational skills; technical and detail-oriented
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, problem-solver, dedicated, deadline-driven and self-motivated/entrepreneurial
