Performance & Analytics Co-op/Internship (Fall 2026)

The British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) is seeking a Performance & Analytics Co-op student/Intern for the Fall 2026 work term to provide timely, accurate and high-quality investment performance & analytics reporting and analysis to various stakeholder groups. The co-op/student will work in the Performance & Analytics team within BCI's Finance department, learning and applying their knowledge to support the timely, accurate, and meaningful measurement and analysis of investment performance across a wide range of public & private market strategies.

Requirements

• Fundamental knowledge of basic business and investment-related disciplines
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Exhibit a high level of professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy, excellent product quality, and attention to detail
• Interest in investment management, a dedication to hard work, commitment to the highest ethical standards, and an eagerness to learn
• Strong research skills combined with analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to use MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
• Experience with any of Python, SQL, VBA, Bloomberg & Power BI is desirable
• Experience with AI tools is desirable

• Competitive pay: $2,330.00 gross bi-weekly or $2,155.00 gross bi-weekly + vacation leave paid based on 6% of salary
