The British Columbia Investment Management Corporation is seeking Private Debt Co-ops/Interns to provide support across a range of credit investment types. This is a great opportunity to learn and apply knowledge in a fast-growing company with a globally diversified portfolio.
Requirements
- Students in an undergraduate program with a preference for those in Business (Finance or Accounting) or Economics
- Passion for investing, drive to continually learn about financial markets, and an interest in credit markets
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy, excellent product quality, and attention to detail
- A high level of professionalism and interpersonal skills
- Strong research skills combined with analytical and critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- A fundamental knowledge of finance, accounting, business, and investment-related disciplines
- Experience in developing financial models is considered an asset
- High level of proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; Bloomberg and S&P Capital IQ/Market Intelligence experience is an asset
