BCI is seeking a Risk Reporting & Data co-op student/intern to support the rollout of a new client reporting platform and build internal tools that improve data transparency. The co-op/intern will work within the Investment Strategy & Risk department, reporting to the A/Principal, Risk Reporting & Data.
Requirements
- Working toward a degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or a related technical discipline
- Experience using AI coding assistants to support application development and system design
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Git
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent product quality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; comfortable investigating data discrepancies and tracing issues to root cause
- Familiarity with data lineage concepts, ETL/data pipelines, or financial reporting systems would be an asset
