Job Description
BCI is seeking a Senior Analyst or Associate to join their Financial Reporting & Valuations team in Victoria, BC. The successful candidate will support the continued evolution of financial reporting at a time of increasing complexity and scale, and will have a deep understanding of IFRS technical knowledge and accounting precision. The role is newly created and driven by the team's expanding scope, including the integration of certain ESG reporting into BCI's financial reporting processes.
Requirements
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) or equivalent
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience (4+ years for the Associate level)
- Experience in investment/securities accounting
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and attention to detail skills
- Ability to plan workload to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to proactively look for ways to increase efficiencies in how work is performed
- Advanced level Excel skills and current experience with an industry standard accounting platform
