Director of Strategy & Business Development, Specimen Management

We are the makers of possible at BD, a global medical technology company. We are seeking a Director of Strategy & Business Development to drive growth and innovation in our Specimen Management business. This role will lead opportunity identification and evaluation, upstream marketing, external innovation partnerships, and selective strategic planning. The position requires strong business acumen, analytical rigor, and executive presence.

Requirements

• BS/BA in engineering, business, or science; MBA strongly preferred
• 2–3 years of management consulting experience preferred
• 5+ years in strategy, innovation, upstream marketing, or business development
• Demonstrated experience in opportunity evaluation, innovation strategy, and business case development
• Strong capability in market modeling and investment analysis
• Healthcare industry experience required (Medical Device or Diagnostics preferred)
