Manufacturing Technology Infrastructure Engineer

We're seeking a dynamic Operational Technology (OT) Systems Specialist to revolutionize our sterilization and operations infrastructure. In this role, you'll orchestrate the installation and ongoing support of cutting-edge Operational Technology systems, ensuring our technology not only meets but exceeds application requirements while maintaining rigorous corporate security standards.

Requirements

• Lead and support our Electronic Device History Reporting system, ensuring seamless integration between machines, instruments, and our MES System
• Take ownership of our physical network infrastructure, keeping our IDF and MDF rooms organized and optimized for peak performance
• Collaborate with local IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve computer, printer, phone, and network challenges that arise
• Oversee installation and support of Operational Technology and Business Applications across multiple sites, working with project teams to plan for future needs
• Ensure all technology meets corporate security requirements and standards
• Provide technical expertise across locations, becoming a valued resource for all IT-related challenges
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing IT/OT systems including PLCs, HMIs, and Windows environments
• Master BD's OT Cybersecurity standards and ensure compliance
• Create innovative solutions to IT/OT challenges as they emerge
• Maintain and support OT software/hardware through version upgrades and changes
• Evaluate how corporate IT directives impact local operations and provide final approvals for site changes
• Guide purchasing decisions for hardware and software upgrades
• Create and implement procedures, establish controls, and recommend improvements to existing practices
• Stay current with emerging technology trends and industry best practices
• Tackle similar and related tasks as they arise in our fast-paced environment
