Job Description
BDO Canada is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Expatriate Tax Services team. The successful candidate will own the responsibilities of preparing and reviewing personal Canadian and US income tax returns, researching expatriate tax issues, and dealing with tax authorities.
Requirements
- Completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Completed or nearing completion of CPA designation
- Enrolled or in the process of enrolling in the in-depth tax course
- Three to five years' experience in public accounting with a specialization in Canadian tax (US tax experience is an asset)
- Extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, personal tax compliance, and planning
