Job Description
BDO is a firm built on a foundation of positive relationships with our people and our clients. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Financial Reporting & Insights team.
Requirements
- Prepare compilation engagements, corporate tax returns for clients in various businesses and non-profit enterprises
- Build effective working relationships with client contacts and respond to client requests
- Preparation of trust returns and trust working papers
- Preparation of tax returns (T1s, T2s, T4s, T5s, GST/HST and charity returns)
- Ensure that all significant engagement matters are documented and brought to the attention of the Manager/Partner
- Follow up with government agencies on questions relating to payroll, assessments, GST, business numbers, etc
