Section Head

The Section Head is responsible for ensuring high quality and timely delivery of all projects of the unit and oversee upkeep of the applications and platforms owned by the unit.

Requirements

• Share the delegated responsibility of the head, and own full accountability for delivery in the assigned team/section
• Work closely with other units/counterparties across ITG to ensure seamless delivery
• Enforce adherence to IT SDLC and Governance structure
• Ensure that there is a good understanding of the business unit’s strategic direction and ensure alignment of strategies with BDO Architecture
• Take full accountability of the quality of application delivery rendered by the team/section
• Plan for and manage the team/section’s capacity, and ensure appropriate and sufficient staffing of the team/section
• Ensure adequate competency in delivery managers and other team members
• Provide oversight of all vendors and solution providers engaged by the team/section and their assigned resources
• Act as point of escalation for all delivery team leads and team members
• Ensure implementation of the proper support required for resolution of issues and risk management
• Conduct performance reviews for delivery manager and other team/section members
