Job Description
The Tax Manager, Core Tax Services is responsible for advising clients on tax implications, identifying alternative actions to lessen tax burdens, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves managing client relationships, developing tax strategies, and providing tax advice to clients within a defined scope and within the framework of the firm's standards.
Requirements
- Ensures client compliance with applicable authorities and minimizes tax burdens
- Conducts top-level reviews of Tax/R and resolves tax issues
- Proactively identifies and researches new tax issues
- Applies IRS standards regarding FAS 109 and FIN 48
- Develops tax consulting strategies
- Supervises associates and provides performance feedback
