As a Tax Manager, Partnerships, you will be responsible for advising clients on the tax implications of their business objectives and various partnership specific items. The role involves research, tax consulting, and supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics
- Five or more years of prior relevant tax experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting/professional services experience
- Specialized partnership experience
- CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction), or Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (“EA”) (or the equivalent of one of these designations)
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively delegate work as needed
- Strong analytical, research and critical thinking skills as well as decision-making skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to develop and manage a team of tax professionals
- Ability to effectively develop and maintain client relationships
- Solid organizational skills, especially ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
- Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently and within a group environment
