Job Description
Tax Manager, State and Local Tax is responsible for advising clients of the tax implications relating to their business objectives, recommending alternate courses of action, as well as identifying different methods of complying with tax regulations.
Requirements
- Research and analyze complex tax situations, providing detailed reports of findings
- Develop relationships with in-state and out-of-state Department of Tax personnel
- Conduct detailed reviews of tax returns, identifying significant state tax issues
- Represent clients before tax authorities on contested issues
- Prepare and review tax provisions, utilizing tax-related software
