The Tax Managing Director is responsible for advising clients on tax implications of their business objectives, evaluating alternative actions to lessen tax burden, and identifying different methods of complying with tax regulations. The role involves complex tax issues, research, and strategy development, as well as supervisory responsibilities and team management. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of tax experience, a CPA certification, and a strong analytical and research skills.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics
- Masters in Accountancy or Taxation
- CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction), or Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (or equivalent)
- Ten (10) or more years of prior relevant tax experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting/professional services experience
- Industry expertise in one or more tax specialty
- Prior supervisory experience
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively delegate work as needed
- Strong analytical, research and critical thinking skills as well as decision-making skills
