Assistant Operations Manager

We are seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to serve as a contact to school districts, interview and hire new transportation coordinators/supervisors, and oversee the maintenance function at an office. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in operations management, business administration, or a related field, and 5+ years of progressive work experience in a fast-paced work environment.

Requirements

• Serve as a contact to the school districts we serve.
• Interview, hire, and train new transportation coordinators/supervisors.
• Prepare monthly work schedules.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels for drivers and monitors.
• Ensure all employees have proper certifications, training, and licensing.
• Oversee the maintenance function at your office and keep our vans in a high state of readiness.
• Review and prepare billing each month.
• Assist with any other tasks or projects as assigned by Senior Operations Manager or Vice President.
