Job Description
A Driver is responsible for transporting clients from their pickup point to their destination in a timely and safe manner. This position requires a High School Diploma/GED, a valid NYS Drivers' License, and a CDL Class 'C' or higher with passenger endorsement. The company offers paid training for CDL and Passenger endorsement.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid NYS Drivers' License
- CDL Class 'C' or higher with passenger endorsement
- NYS-DMV 19A qualified (or able to obtain)
- Valid DOT medical card (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to pull and push 250 lbs. and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time and bend to secure wheelchair bound clients
- Ability to display empathy towards clients
- Willingness to grow within the company
