Senior Scientist, LNP Sciences

Beam Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Scientist with expertise in formulation and ligand conjugation to join their LNP Sciences team. The candidate will work on developing lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) targeting different organs and cell types, with a focus on bringing in vivo base editing to patients.

Requirements

• PhD or MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering or related field
• 4+ years of PhD experience or 12+ years of MS experience in drug product and CMC development
• Deep understanding of sterile product development
• Prior industry research experience in nucleic acids and drug delivery
• Experience with development of antibody-drug conjugates and/or biologics is preferred
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and concepts
• Excellent computational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities
• Ability to work with a diverse group of scientists and engineers
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with sufficient on-site presence
