Field Superintendent - Civil (Aeros)

Bechtel is hiring a Field Superintendent - Civil (Aeros) to manage and execute subcontractors and direct-hire civil construction activities on a large gas-fired power generation facility project. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, quality delivery and will report to the Lead Field Superintendent or Area Field Superintendent.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management or other relevant technical disciplines
• 5-8 years of relevant work experience, or 9-12 years relevant experience in the absence of a degree
• Experience in civil construction on large projects
• Technical knowledge of earthworks, roads and drainage on infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of relevant codes such as ACI, CRSI, ASTM etc.
• Knowledge of construction technologies
• Knowledge of supervisory functions relating to field activities
• Familiarity with current industry quality standards
• Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H)
• Understanding of production management including scheduling
• Previous supervisory experience within civil discipline
• Sound communication skills
• Sound interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of cost management including estimating and forecast development
