Lead Construction Coordinator

Lead a multi-discipline team of construction coordinators to liaise between engineering and field operations, provide guidance on executing constructability plans, and monitor construction performance. Participate in design development and suggest/implement economical construction details. Represent construction in engineering and procurement schedule review meetings and utilize the plant design model to identify construction sequencing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent)
• 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of Nuclear Power Construction preferred
• Thorough knowledge of a specific construction engineering discipline gained through a combination of related education and construction experience and a working knowledge of all other construction engineering disciplines
• Broad-based knowledge of the function and interrelationships of field construction entities and operations
• Knowledge of Bechtel Construction Nuclear Work Process Procedures
• Understands and applies the requirements of the Project Environmental, Safety & Health handbook and the Bechtel Core Processes to area of responsibility
• Knowledge of the impact and effect of using field automation tools
• Knowledge of environmental compliance laws and requirements
• Knowledge of government compliance standards
• Knowledge of Bechtel’s Zero Accident Safety Philosophy
• Knowledge of current industry standards
