Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer position available at Bechtel National, Inc. to support the Uranium Processing Facility project in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The role involves planning and conducting systems engineering work, reviewing and preparing information on requirements management, verification and validation, functional analysis, and other key documents.

Requirements

• Evaluates, selects, and applies standard Systems Engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria
• Establishes means of verifying requirements implementation
• Develops system models using Model-Based Systems Engineering methods and tools
• Researches, models and documents system operations and limits against required performance
• Defines facility/system functions, behaviors, and other design requirements
• Coordinates system-level design verification, requirements verification, test requirements specifications, and requirements flow down and traceability
• Provides technical assistance to other Systems personnel and interacts with project functions, the customer, and regulatory agency personnel
