This position is for a Machinist to work closely with Engineering and Production departments to create parts for manufacturing equipment. The Machinist will operate machine tools, program CNC mills and lathes, and troubleshoot equipment. Precision Machining or similar technical degree is preferred, and experience with machine tools is required.
Requirements
- Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications
- Operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce parts
- Programming and running CNC mills and CNC lathes
- Basic understanding of G code
- Maintains specifications by taking measurements with proper measuring devices
- Troubleshoot equipment
- Maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance
- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
