Lead Engineer, Engine Systems

Beehive Industries is seeking a Lead Engineer, Engine Systems to execute the design, analysis, and evaluation of turbomachinery components, assemblies, and systems integration. The role requires a strong understanding of design software tools, additive manufacturing technologies, and system engineering principles. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 8 years of experience in gas turbine design, analysis, test, and/or development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
• At least 8 years of experience in gas turbine design, analysis, test, and/or development
• At least 5 years of experience working in a systems engineering position
• Strong understanding of design software tools (NX, ANSYS, etc)
• Experience working with additive manufacturing technologies and familiarity with design for additive manufacturing principles
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
• Passion for additive technology and willingness to challenge current design limitations to further exploit the benefits of additive capability
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Demonstrated problem solving ability and strong program leadership and execution skills
• Proven self-starter and quick learner who can work in fast-paced cross-functional teams
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
• U.S. Citizenship required
