Job Description
Beehive Industries is seeking a Senior Engineer to work on thermal management systems for jet propulsion systems. The role involves designing, developing, and testing new centerline engines and associated development rigs. The successful candidate will have experience with finite element analysis, 1D fluid systems, and additive manufacturing technologies.
Requirements
- Execute design, analysis, and evaluation of turbomachinery components and assemblies
- Experience with finite element analysis using ANSYS Workbench/Classic-APDL
- Experience with 1D fluid systems relating to whole engine gas turbine development
- Lead engine system, component and rig test programs from a thermal design perspective
- Serve as the component subject matter expert as part of a diverse system design team
- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments
