Recovery Specialist Supervisor

The Recovery Specialist Supervisor will supervise the Recovery Specialist/Medication Aides for the residential programs, oversee labor allocation, provide training, and assist with administrative functions.

Requirements

• Two years of coursework in a human services field and/or two years of experience/training OR two years of lived recovery experience
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
• Valid Nebraska driver’s license and an insurable driving/safety record
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of financial and/or outcome metrics
• Basic behavioral health knowledge including different diagnosis and treatment methods
• 12 step recovery principles and how it relates
• Mental and emotional stability to assist clients
• Excellent documentation skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to handle tasks and functions of the residential program
• Successful completion of background checks/references
• Two years of continuous sobriety/“clean time” required and maintained throughout employment
• Willing to obtain a flu shot annually (except for those allergic to the vaccine or who have a religious exception) or must wear a mask when agency deems appropriate
