Job Description
The Analytical Chemist conducts analytical testing on raw materials, longitudinal and accelerated stability, in-process, finished bulk, and finished products.
Requirements
- Prepare samples for testing
- Perform physical and chemical testing
- Operation and maintenance of scientific instruments
- Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and records
- Work closely as a team
- Monitor product quality
- Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on instrumentation
- Train new and existing personnel
- Mentor lab technicians and newer staff members
