Job Description
The Maintenance Technician will help with the overall maintenance, repair, upgrades, and improvements of the greenhouse facility. This is a hands-on role requiring basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with a focus on irrigation systems, greenhouse maintenance, and the installation and repair of production equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Ability to drive maintenance equipment
- General, if not better than average knowledge of power equipment, electric, and plumbing
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to perform under minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment in problem solving
- Works well in both a team environment and independently
- Adjusts to changing conditions and willingness to work off-shifts
- Available for On Call Emergencies
- Bilingual a Plus
