Lunch and Aftercare Aide

We are seeking a reliable, energetic individual to supervise and support our scholars during their lunch, recess, and aftercare classes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in working with children of different grade levels
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Effective organization and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain composure and perform responsibilities under pressure
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others
• Maintain confidentiality about scholars when personal situations arise
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and interact positively with scholars representing a diverse range of behaviors and needs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (2+ hrs)
• A willingness to engage in light cleaning tasks and assisting young scholars to manage their lunches
