Job Description
As a Sessional Visual Arts and Cultural Arts Teacher, you’ll be teaching adults in a correctional facility, guiding them through the world of visual arts and helping them develop practical skills and creative confidence for the industry.
Requirements
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
- Qualified and/or Experienced Artist
- Experience collaborating with or teaching Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students (preferred)
- Experience delivering training in adult education or vocational settings (beneficial)
- Effective communication skills for working in correctional settings
- Computer proficiency
- Compliance paperwork management
- Ability to teach independently
- Commitment to safety, inclusion, and learner success
