Structural Project Engineer

Benesch is a growing, multi-disciplined planning, engineering, and professional services firm that enhances infrastructure and communities across the country. They are looking for a Structural Project Engineer with varied backgrounds and worldviews to join their team in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• PE License in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain through reciprocity
• Certified Bridge Safety Inspector (CBSI) – not required, but preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of bridge design, load rating and inspection experience
• Experience working with PennDOT, specifically District 4-0, PTC and/or municipalities
• Excellent communication and client relation skills
• Progressive experience with developing contract and utilizing MicroStation Connects, Open Roads and Open Bridge Design software
• Strong organization and leadership skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedules
• Ability to perform complex analysis and design
• Ability to assemble a complete design package for assigned elements or projects
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
