Job description
The Director of Transportation will lead and optimize transportation operations across multiple regions, including Europe, by developing and executing strategic logistics plans that maximize service performance while minimizing costs.
Develop and execute short- and long-term transportation strategies, manage carrier selection and performance, and lead transportation teams to consistently high-performance levels.
This role requires a strong financial acumen, project management skills, and experience in ERP, WMS, and TMS. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of cost saving and service enhancement success, excellent communication and relationship skills, and a comprehensive understanding of DOT, OSHA, federal and state regulations.
