Fire Technician-York

Berkshire Systems Group, Inc. is seeking a Fire Technician I to commission, maintain, repair, and provide customer support for Fire Alarm Systems. This role involves traveling to client sites across Pennsylvania, requires a strong technical background in electronics, and involves both on-site and potentially overnight travel. The position contributes to the Fire Life Safety Division of BSGI, offering a company vehicle, laptop, mobile phone and training.

Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge with an electronics background
• Ability to commission and modify fire alarms systems
• Ability to use multimeter, lineman's telephone test set, and basic electronic theory
• Solid customer service and communication skills
• Impeccable organizational and multi-tasking skills
• At least one (1) year of experience with Fire Alarm system installations
• Associate's degree in Electronics or related field
• Industry certifications such as NICET and formalized manufacturer training a plus
