Job Description
We are looking for an Editor to assist in researching and preparing topics for East Germany, creating various formats of content, and contributing to editorial development.
Requirements
- Passion for topics and stories from East Germany
- Openness, listening, and making visible voices that are often overlooked
- Very good language skills and enjoyment of writing
- Reliable and structured work, flexibility, and curiosity about new formats
- German language skills on a native level; additional language skills are a plus
- Ideally, first experience in the editorial department and with digital tools, social media, or research methods
- Strong proximity to East German perspectives and life realities, as well as the ability to differentiate and knowledgeable journalistically integrate them
