The Berliner Zeitung is looking for a reporter to strengthen their Berlin department, focusing on researching and reporting on various topics, relationship management, and multimodal preparation.

Requirements

• Research & Themefinding
• Reporting
• Relationship management
• Multimodal preparation
• Secure handling of digital media and a sense of reach
• In-depth knowledge of Berlin and its urban environment
• Completed studies, a comparable education or a journalistic internship
• Several years of journalistic experience and are happy to approach people directly to tell their stories
• Elegant writing with a sense of language and a structured, flexible, and reliable working method
• Interest in less attention-grabbing topics and milieus of the city
• Excellent German language skills and a very good language feeling
• Experience with KI tools for research, idea finding, or text work is an advantage
• Foreign language skills - e.g. Turkish - are a plus
