Vice President, Architecture and Design Public Relations

Orchestra is seeking an experienced communications strategist to join the Cities team as a Vice President. The role will counsel clients through comprehensive communications strategies, mentor and manage junior staff, and engage in business development. The team is based in New York, N.Y. and works on issues ranging from arts & culture to real estate and progressive policy.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of strategic communications experience
• Deep experience in media relations and a demonstrated interest in the advancement of cities with an interest in design
• Experience in supporting business development strategies
• Thoughtful people management skills with experience leading diverse and inclusive teams
• Creative problem-solving approach to strategies with an eye for each client's unique history and goals
• Exceptional client-service skills
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Expert multi-tasker with the ability to handle multiple assignments at once
