Job Description
The BERT OGDEN QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST is responsible for final quality inspections on serviced vehicles to ensure they meet Bert Ogden Auto Group's safety and quality standards prior to customer delivery. This includes verifying torque, ensuring proper drain plug and oil filter installation, and reporting any issues. The role requires accurate documentation, adherence to quality standards, and coordination with Service Advisors and Management.
Requirements
- Perform final quality inspections on all serviced vehicles before release.
- Verify all lug nuts are present, undamaged, and torqued to manufacturer specifications.
- Inspect oil pan drain plug and oil filter housing for proper installation and leaks.
- Use proper tools and PPE, ensuring torque wrenches and inspection equipment are calibrated.
- Record inspection results using the QC Inspection Checklist.
- Red-tag and report any failed inspections or safety concerns.
- Maintain consistent adherence to Bert Ogden Auto Group’s safety and quality standards.
- Uphold zero tolerance for missed inspections or critical safety errors.
