Job Description
Land /Marine Surveyor - GCC: Accurate survey data forms the foundation for safe, compliant, and efficient project execution. High‐quality land and hydrographic surveys minimize errors, ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, and enable informed engineering and construction decisions.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Geospatial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in mathematics, mapping, GPS, and GIS applications.
- Experience working on large-scale construction, marine, or infrastructure projects.
- Practical expertise in operating total stations, GNSS/GPS, echo sounders, multibeam systems, and other advanced surveying instruments.
- Strong skills in CAD, GIS, and specialized survey or hydrographic processing software.
- Solid understanding of survey control, benchmarks, coordinate systems, and geodetic principles.
- Knowledge of HSE standards, quality procedures, and relevant regulatory or legal requirements.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, charts, and specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and data‐validation skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills; able to coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site teams.
- Ability to work in both marine and land environments and adapt to project logistics.
